Therapy OPS focuses on giving back to the community
Volunteering
Staff are give paid volunteer days to volunteer individually or as a group. Volunteering opportunities we’ve engaged in include Feed My Starving Children, Habitat for Humanity, Neighbors, cleaning up the neighborhood, among others.
Increasing diversity within our fields
Therapy OPS recognizes that the professions of occupational, physical, and speech therapy are predominantly white females. We work with the Best Foundation to offer college students a reoccurring scholarship for BIPOC students.
Donations
Over the years, Therapy OPS has held 20+ drives for different charities and schools. With each drive, Therapy OPS matches the donations with a monetary donation. A few of the organizations we have supported include The Northside Achievement Zone, local food shelves, women’s shelters, Dress for Success, Chase’s Toy Chest, The Free Book Buggie. and the Inver Grove Heights school district.
